Harold Wayne Busig was born in 1925 at the Busse Hospital in Sterling, Colorado. His physician was Dr. C.J. Latta and his nurse was Mrs. Busse. He died in 2007 at Vancouver, Washingon. Harold served as a sailor in the Pacific Theater in World War Two aboard the USS Mertz (DD-691), a Fletcher class destroyer. Harold Busig died of pneumonia.
