Jerry Albert Rogers 1947 - 2004

Jerry Albert Rogers was buried on January 16, 2004 in Pasco, Washington, next to his dad, Albert Rogers. Jerry lived in Pasco for a few years and then moved to Tracy, California with his family. After his dad died in 1959, Jerry moved with his mom and brother to Vancouver, Washington. Jerry went to McLoughlin Junior High School and graduated in 1965 from Hudsons Bay High School in Vancouver. Jerry liked to raise pigeons when he was a youngster and Jerry hung drywall for a living.

Below: On Saturday, April 22, 2000, Laura Frost and her friend Todd visited with Jerry at the Highland Terrace Nursing Center in Camas. Laura is Jerry's biological daughter and her son Dillan Miller is his biological grandson. Jerry and Laura are meeting for the first time. Laura Frost is the granddaughter of Wally Olson, who used to own the Evergreen Airport in Vancouver, Washington. Small world, Wally Olson taught this blog writer how to fly a taildragger in 1970. In a phrase, Wally Olson was a Great American:

Left: Jerry is second on the left in the front of this picture taken while he still lived in Pasco, Washington. He moved with his family to Tracy and then to Vancouver. Jerry seemed the happiest in Pasco. Both him and his Dad are buried there.

My horse Trigger died Oct. 29, 1957 at Pasco Washington in the care of my aunt and uncle at 1521 Court Street Pasco Washington. My horse Trigger born in March 29, 1950. My horse Trigger died of maninites.
